The main ministries in charge of migration affairs in the Netherlands:
Ministry of Justice and Security: Together with its subordinate authorities it is the main body dealing with migration affairs, including immigration (entry, residence); border management and irregular migration; asylum; return and readmission; international migration policy.
Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment: is responsible for integration policy, including civic integration and socio-economic participation.
Ministry of Defence: border control duties at airports and maritime border-crossing points.
