JVAP Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) in Malta, 8-9 February 2017

Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) held in Malta, on 8 and 9 February 2017. 

In the same spirit of cooperation and solidarity displayed at the first Valetta Summit on Migration, the Senior Officials' Meeting held in Malta on the 8th and 9th of February 2017 gathered delegations from Africa and Europe to take stock of the progress made to date under the Joint Valetta Action Plan.

The meeting led to the adoption of a set of joint conclusions, based on the recommendations of the Rabat Process and the Khartoum Process. The joint conclusions reiterate the commitment of all stakeholders to the principles of solidarity, partnership and shared responsability in the area of migration management and mobility. .
